Western Style Lentil Soup instructions

  1. Boil water for the soup base.
  2. Chop the vegetables (potato, carrot, capsicum) and chop the garlic.
  3. Cut tomatoes removing the seeds and the jelly.
  4. Break the bay leaves in half and put them into the hot water (turn off the heat) and put lid on.
  5. Cut 2 pieces of ginger.
  6. Pan fry the ginger with olive oil.
